Open an account
To open a current account you need to provide the following documents:
- Application;
- Notarised copy of the legal entity's charter;
- Notarised copy of the state registration statement of legal entities;
- Original of the duplicate certificate issued by the State Social Protection Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan (except profit legal entities and individual entrepreneurs);
- Original of the duplicate certificate issued by the relevant tax authority;
- Signature and seal/stamp specimen.
Government bodies need to provide the following documents:
- Application;
- A letter of permission by the State Treasury Agency of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan to open a bank account for institutions funded by the state budget or Nakhchivan AR's budget;
- Documentary evidence of approval of the Charter of a public authority acting under a charter approved by the relevant executive power’s act;
- Original of the duplicate certificate issued by the State Social Protection Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
- original of the duplicate certificate issued by the relevant tax authority;
- Signature and seal/stamp specimen.
The municipality needs to provide the following documents:
- Application;
- The text of the legal act on approval of the municipality’s charter, registered with the State Register of Legal Acts of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
- Original of the duplicate certificate issued by the State Social Protection Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
- Original of the duplicate certificate issued by the relevant tax authority;
- Signature and seal/stamp specimen.
An individual entrepreneur needs to provide the following documents:
- Application;
- The ID of and individual entrepreneur;
- Original of the duplicate certificate issued by the relevant tax authority;
- Signature specimen sheet.
Branch or a representative office of the legal entity needs to provide the following documents:
- Application;
- Notarised copy of the state registration statement of legal entities;
- Original or a notarized copy of the charter of the branch, the representative office approved by the legal entity (entities operating under a model charter must provide documentary evidence of the model charter);
- Original of the duplicate certificate issued by the State Social Protection Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
- Original of the duplicate certificate issued by the relevant tax authority;
- Signature and seal/stamp specimen.
Trade Union association need to provide the following documents:
- Application;
- Resolution or an excerpt from a resolution by the Trade Union Association, the Trade Union primary is a member of, documenting creation thereof;
- Notarised charter of the Trade Union association;
- Original of the duplicate certificate issued by the relevant tax authority;
- Signature and seal/stamp specimen.
A family farm should provide the following documents:
- Application;
- a notarized copy of the certificate issued by the municipality where the farm is registered under the relevant application;
- The ID of the head of the family farm (the ID shall be verified against the account application and signature specimen sheet, a copy of the ID shall be kept at the bank and the document returned to the owner);
- Original of the duplicate certificate issued by the State Social Protection Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
- Signature specimen sheet.
An official representative should provide the following documents:
- Application;
- Documentary evidence of the status of the foreign diplomatic or another official representative office (translated into Azerbaijani and notarized copy);
- Signature and seal/stamp specimen.

What you can do
You can make the following bank operations using your current account:
- A cash deposit (at any branch);
- Cash withdrawal (only at your branch);
- Make internal, domestic transfers or transfers abroad;
- Get incoming transfers within the country or from abroad.
